    Your VEBA Board of Trustees have been meeting, discussing and at the Board of Trustees meeting held on August 23, 2021 finalized the Open Enrollment period, membership informational meetings and approved benefit enhancements for 2022.


    Open Enrollment Packets will be mailed the first week of October 2021.

    The Open Enrollment dates have been set, beginning Monday, October 18, 2021 and ending on Friday, November 12, 2021



    Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the American Polish Century Club, 33204 Maple Lane Dr., Sterling Heights, MI 48312, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm


    Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Burton Manor, 27777 Schoolcraft, Livonia, MI 48150, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm


    Providers from Priority Health, BeneSys, Delta Dental and VSP will be on property to answer your questions and assist with enrollment

    The Board of Trustees while determining benefit levels, moved by unanimous decision, until changed, to place a $400.00, per member/per month (pm/pm), maximum benefit allowance.

    The 2022 HRA monthly benefits are as follows:

    $25.00 - Retiree, Spouse, Surviving Spouse in addition to the VEBA paying their entire Priority Health Medicare Advantage PPO/HMO plan premium


    $175.00* - Medicare Eligible Opt-Out - Retiree, Spouse, Surviving Spouse


    $175.00* - Non-Medicare Eligible (pre-65) - Retiree, Spouse, Surviving Spouse


    $225.00* - Non-Medicare Eligible - Retiree, Spouse, Surviving Spouse with under $75k household income on Public Exchange


    $200.58* - Below Federal Poverty Level in Non-Medicare Expansion State – Retiree


    $350.00* - Over 65 Non-Medicare Eligible - Retiree, Spouse, Surviving Spouse

    $400.00 - Non-Medicare Eligible Duty Disability - Retiree, Surviving Spouse


    Members enrolled or wishing to enroll in the Below Federal Poverty Level or Non-Medicare Eligible with under $75k household income will be required to submit documentation as outlined in the Open Enrollment booklet.

    You MUST submit the required HRA Reimbursement Form each year to receive your benefits.

    *Indicates a $50.00 monthly pm/pm increase


    Direct deposit of HRA Reimbursement will be an option that members can select for 2022.

    Guidelines and direct deposit agreement forms will be included in the Open Enrollment packet.


    Members that want their direct deposit to begin by January 2022 MUST return the form prior to November 12, 2021.


    Forms returned after that will result in direct deposit beginning at a later month.


    Payments by check will not be delayed pending direct deposit being put in place.


    Direct deposits for member and spouse must go to the same bank account.

    The BeneSys location in Troy, MI is once again supporting walk-ins as of June 23, 2021.  


    COVID-19 Vaccinations

    Priority Health Medicare members will need their “red, white, & blue” Medicare card with them when they go do receive their COVID-19 Vaccination. This is for ALL Medicare members that are on a Medicare Advantage plan. Centers for Medicare Services advised that Original Medicare will be paying for the vaccine and the administration.

    All of the Priority Health Members in and out of state will need to present their Red/White/Blue Original Medicare card when they are getting the COVID vaccine.
