Hello Heart

The Eighth District Electrical Benefit Fund is partnering with Hello Heart to provide eligible members with a free, personal heart health monitoring kit, including a free blood pressure monitor that connects to an app on your smartphone. Hello Heart is an easy-to-use program that helps you track, understand and manage your heart health from the privacy of your own phone. Hello Heart is offered at no cost to eligible members, spouses and adult dependents, including all retirees, who are covered by the Eighth District Electrical Benefit Fund and have blood pressure readings of 130/80 mmHg or above or take blood pressure medication. Sword Health

Medical Benefits

Your medical benefit network is provided by Cigna Open Access Plus (OAP). To get the most out of your benefits, it is best to use a provider that participates in the Cigna network. Prescription Benefits

Sav-Rx Prescription Services will administer your pharmacy benefits. Using your Sav-Rx ID card every time you purchase a prescription medication will ensure that you will pay only your copayment for your prescriptions. Call Sav-Rx at (866) 233-IBEW with any questions concerning your prescription benefit. You will receive personalized, professional assistance from a live, Union representative 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Dental Benefits

Your dental benefit is provided by Anthem. Using a participating provider that accepts the Anthem Dental Complete network will ensure that you get the most out of your dental benefits provided by the Plan. Doctor On Demand Telehealth Benefits

Your  telehealth provider is Doctor On Demand. No more waiting rooms, no more scheduling hassles. Doctor On Demand lets you see a doctor right away. All from your mobile device or computer. You can download the app from the App Store, Google Play, or access care via DoctorOnDemand.com and enroll now.

Labor First - Medicare Participants

Effective January 1, 2020, if you are a Medicare-Eligible Retiree and/or Spouse, your medical and prescription benefits are combined under a Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) plan. Labor First has a team of dedicated Retiree Advocates specifically assigned to assist participants of the Eighth District Benefit Fund. Counseling at no cost and referral services for you and your family members is provided by Blomquist Hale. Please see information below for more information.
