How do I become a Participant in the Plan?

Individuals who work at least 435 hours during a Plan Year under a collective bargaining agreement or other written agreement that requires contributions to the pension fund are eligible to participate in the plan.

I am going through a divorce, what happens to my pension?

Laws affecting employee benefits require plans such as this one to obey certain court orders that require some or all of your benefits to be paid to your spouse, former spouse. The Trustees will abide by a "Qualified Domestic Relations order" from a court.

Does the Pension Plan affect Social Security benefits in any way?

A.

You may receive benefits from Social Security in addition to the benefit you will get from this pension plan. You should go to your local Social Security office for assistance in determining the amount which may be payable to you under the Social Security Act.
