    2025 Annual Dependent Audit

    The Dependent Audit for 2025 has been completed. It you missed the deadline you can still submit your dependent information for re-instatement.

    Information submitted by June 6, 2026, will re-instate your dependents immediately retroactive to July 1, 2025. You do not need to complete this process if you do not have any dependents, but if you need to add an Eligible Dependent or have an address change, you can do that at this time.

    New Dental Provider - Delta Dental 

    Effective January 1, 2025, your dental benefit network is provided by Delta Dental. Using a participating provider within the Delta Dental network will ensure that you get the most out of your dental benefits provided by the Plan. To locate a participating provider or for questions regarding your dental benefits and claims, you may call Delta Dental’s customer service team at (800) 554-1907 or text at (833) 604-1246 Monday Friday between 6 am 5 pm PST or visit us at www.DeltaDentalWA.com

      

    NOTICE OF RIGHT TO REQUEST TAX NOTIFICATION FORM 1095-B

    Form 1095-B provides you with information about your healthcare coverage, including who was covered, and when the coverage was in effect. You may not need to file a Form 1095 with your federal tax return, but some members may need the form to comply with state reporting requirements. If members and beneficiaries have not already received an IRS Form 1095-B via U.S. mail, they may request that the Plan send another copy of their Form 1095-B to them via U.S. mail.   You may make this request by email, phone, or written request.  The Plan will mail you the form within 30 days of receiving your request. Please include your name and address in your request.     Elixir is Now MedImpact 

    Earlier this year, Elixir was acquired by MedImpact, the nation’s largest independent pharmacy benefit and health solutions company.  There is no impact to your pharmacy benefits and the Rx BIN and Rx PCN will remain the same, meaning there is no action for you at this time. In December, new ID cards will be mailed out for your pharmacy benefits along with the Delta Dental information. 

     

    Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Services

    The Trustees of the Employee Painters’ Trust (EPT) are pleased to announce that Canopy Wellbeing has been selected to provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.

    This new benefit is now available to eligible Members and Dependents up to 26 years of age. The EAP provides free, confidential, and professional assistance, including assessment, problem solving, and referral for a wide variety of personal or family concerns. Services include four (4) confidential face-to-face counseling sessions, legal consultations, simple wills, financial coaching, child and eldercare resource retrieval services, identity theft services, and more.

     Maternity Leave Benefit

    The Board of Trustees are pleased to provide a new benefit under the Plan – Paid Maternity Leave Program! Beginning April 1, 2022, the Plan will offer eligible Participants with a Paid Maternity Leave Benefit. This new benefit program provides benefit program provides benefits for pregnancy (pre-delivery/birth) for a maximum of six (6) months and post-delivery/birth for a maximum benefit of six (6) weeks or eight (8) weeks for cesarean birth.
