    Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Services

    The Trustees of the Employee Painters’ Trust (EPT) are pleased to announce that Canopy Wellbeing has been selected to provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.

    This new benefit is now available to eligible Members and Dependents up to 26 years of age. The EAP provides free, confidential, and professional assistance, including assessment, problem solving, and referral for a wide variety of personal or family concerns. Services include four (4) confidential face-to-face counseling sessions, legal consultations, simple wills, financial coaching, child and eldercare resource retrieval services, identity theft services, and more.

     Monthly Status Slips Notice

    The Board of Trustees of the Employee Painters’ Trust (the “Plan”) would like to inform you that the monthly Status Slips will no longer be distributed effective November 1, 2023. This decision was made to ensure that the Plan continues to operate in the most cost-efficient manner possible and to promote the usage of the self-service tools offered by the Plan such as the Mobile Application and Participant Website.

    The Participant Website can be found at and the Mobile Application can be downloaded from either the Apple App Store or from Google Play. To find the Mobile Application search for IUPATWBenes. Registration is required on both the Participant Website and the Mobile Application.     If you have not received a 1095-B Tax Form by March 9, 2023, members and beneficiaries may request for a copy of their Form 1095-B by:

    Maternity Leave Benefit

    The Board of Trustees are pleased to provide a new benefit under the Plan – Paid Maternity Leave Program! Beginning April 1, 2022, the Plan will offer eligible Participants with a Paid Maternity Leave Benefit. This new benefit program provides benefit program provides benefits for pregnancy (pre-delivery/birth) for a maximum of six (6) months and post-delivery/birth for a maximum benefit of six (6) weeks or eight (8) weeks for cesarean birth.
