This link leads to the public machine-readable files that are required to be made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule effective July 1, 2022 with certain portions of the rule going into effect in stages. More requirements will go into effect on Jan., 1, 2023 and Jan. 1, 2024 unless these dates are further delayed or changed by the federal government.  And It  includes negotiated in-network provider service rates between health plans and healthcare providers and out-of-network allowed amounts and billed charges for covered items and services. The disclosure of prescription drug negotiated rates have been delayed until future rule making. The health plan price transparency is intended to help consumers know the cost of a covered item or service before receiving care.   The machine-readable files are also formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
