What is the Supplemental Health Reimbursement Account (SHRA)?
A.
This is an account used for your future insurance eligibility deductions and may also be used for reimbursements of your out-of-pocket medical expenses. See your Supplemental Health Reimbursement Plan Description for details. Members who have a minimum of six months Health & Welfare coverage “banked” have a SHRA which represents the Health & Welfare contributions in excess of the six month coverage requirement. You can download the filing instructions and a claim form off of this website located under “Forms”.

I’m going through a divorce, what does the Plan require?
A.
You become a Participant in the Plan on the first day of your employment in a job category covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement between your employer and the I.U.O.E. Stationary Engineers Local 39.
Q.
I am going through a divorce, what happens to my pension?
A.
The Plan requires a Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) to be filed with the courts should an ex-spouse be entitled to pension benefits. Your attorney may obtain details and assistance by writing to the Fund’s Office. If you have any questions, please Contact the Fund’s Office at 216-520-1644.

How can I have my address changed?
A.

When will I receive my vacation money?
A.
Vacation checks are mailed to participants June 1st and December 1st. Providing the Fund’s Office has received the contributions on a timely basis, the vacation contributions for the work months of October – March are included in the June 1st check and the work months of April – September are included in the December 1st check. Late contributions are held for the next vacation distribution.
