Q. If I want an estimate on my retirement, who do I call?
A. You can request an estimate from the pension department at 248-641-4943. An estimate will be mailed to you within 5-7 business days. If you have been divorced in the past a finalized divorce decree and settlement agreement is required prior to an estimate being mailed to you.
Q. Who do I notify if my spouse has passed away?
A. The pension department needs to be notified when a member passes away. Please contact the pension department at 248-641-4943. A copy of the death certificate will need to be provided to the pension department.
Q. How can I have my address changed?
A.
All address changes must be submitted in writing. Complete the Address Verification Change Form located on the website for your convenience. Mail all address changes to

Q. How many current credits do I have?
A.

Current credits are based upon hours worked in the previous calendar year and are eligible to be used in the current calendar year.

Reserve credits are based upon hours worked in the current calendar year and are eligible to be used in the next calendar year.

Q.Do I need to submit a new application for each lay off, short week, or period of disability?
