    We are pleased to inform you that BCBS Dental  has given a one-month premium credit to all members enrolled in one of their dental plans. 


     

    Members who have paid a BCBS Dental premium for May 2020 will see this credit reflected on their August 2020 Pension Statement.

    Important information regarding the Delta Dental Credit for July 2020


    We regret to inform that an error has occurred with the Delta Dental credit that was to take place on the July 2020 pension statement.  Anyone that was to receive a credit was erroneously deducted twice.


    The Pension System sends their sincere apology for the error and have assured us that a correction will be made on the August 2020 pension statement.

    Delta Dental understands the financial challenges that their members have faced in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, they are pleased to announce their Pandemic Relief Program. The intent is to help ease the financial burden for their members and demonstrate their committed partnership. 

     

    Members who have paid a Delta Dental premium for April 2020 will see this credit reflected on their July 2020 Pension Statement.

    We wanted to alert you that in Michigan, the postal distribution centers and local post offices are experiencing fluctuations in schedule and a reduction in their resources.

    “Due to the National Emergency, we are experiencing unprecedented phone volumes. We ask for your patience and will respond to your call as soon as possible. Also, per CDC social separation guidelines, our locations will not be supporting walk-ins until after August 31, 2020. We will accept drop offs from participants but will suspend face to face interaction between staff and participants.”
