Frequently Asked Vacation Questions


Q. How can I have my address changed?
A. You can simply complete the Address Verification Change Form located on the website under Forms and mail or fax it to the Benefit Office at P.O. Box 396, Troy, MI 48099-0396 or Fax (248) 813-9898.
Q. Can I have my annual Union Dues deducted from my vacation contributions?
A. Yes, you will need to contact the Roofers Local 149 Union Hall to obtain the necessary forms at (313) 961-6093.
Q. Can I authorize a P.A.C. deduction from my vacation contributions?
A. Yes, you will need to contact the Roofers Local 149 Union Hall to obtain the necessary forms at (313) 961-6093.
Q. How often are Vacation Pay-outs distributed? 
A. You can elect an Annual Payment, which will provide one payment per year, with payment issued in July of each year. You can elect a Semi-Annual Payment, which will provide two payments per year, with one payment issued in January and one in July of each year. You can elect a Quarterly Payment, which will provide four payments per year, with payments issued in October, January, April and July of each year. You can contact the Benefit Office or the Roofers Local 149 Union Hall to obtain a Distribution Authorization Form.
Q. Can I take a Loan or borrow against my vacation account?
A. No. Distributions or payments from the vacation account are not permissible except for the annual payout on the selected payment dates.
