Frequently Asked Vacation Questions


Q. I understand my Credit Union contribution money can be transferred into a Credit Union account, what is the Credit Union’s address, telephone number and Website address?

Q. When will my Credit Union contribution money be transferred to my Credit Union account if that's the option I choose?
A. Credit Union contribution money for members with active accounts on file with PFCU, will be transferred weekly; settling into members' accounts on Fridays.
Q. How do I open an account with the Credit Union to receive my Credit Union contribution pay?
A. Contact your nearest PFCU branch to open an account. Then, contact the Benefit Office with your new account information provided by PFCU.
Q. Could my Credit Union contribution money be deposited into my own personal financial institution?
A. No, all Credit Union contribution money is transferred on a weekly basis to PFCU only.
Q. If I choose to have my Credit Union contributions held in the Benefit Office, how often can I request pay out?
A. For Credit Union contributions, if you choose to hold funds in the Benefit Office, you can request a check to be mailed to your home address. You may only request a Credit Union contribution payout no more than once per month. These requests are sent to the Union Hall for approval prior to issuing.
Q. For Vacation, Election Day, or McCullough Day Plan contributions - can I withdraw funds prior to the Annual pay out?
A. For Vacation Plan contributions, a hardship form must be filled out.
All hardships are issued after January 16th of each year for the prior year's work.  Example:  Payouts after 1/16/2018, include 2017 work received prior to 1/16/2018.
No hardships or early withdrawals are allowed on the Election Day or McCullough Day Plan contributions.
Q. Is there a limit to the number of withdrawals that I can make during the year?
A. You may only request a Credit Union contribution check, no more than once per month.  These requests are sent to the Union Hall for approval prior to issuing.
Vacation hardship withdrawals require approval from the Union Hall.
No hardships or early withdrawals are allowed on the Election Day or McCullough Day Plan contributions.
Q. Can I have my spouse or another designated person contact the Benefit Office for any of my balances?
A. For the members' protection, no information will be provided to anyone but the member. Signed HIPAA forms are not related to Credit Union or Vacation contributions; therefore, no one but the member will be given any balance information.
