Q.

Who is eligible to become a Participant in the Plan?

A.

Once you have worked the initial 800 hours you become eligible for Insurance.

Q.

What if I don’t work enough hours to gain eligibility for the month?

A.

If you didn't work enough hours per month then you will receive a billing.  Once you receive the bill which will have an HRA form.  Any further questions please call the Benefits Office.

Q.

How do I maintain my monthly Health Care coverage?

A.

To maintain the health care coverage and not receive a bill you would have to work 110 hours per month.

How many payouts are there per year?

A.

There are 2 - one in June only by request (which is sent in March and has to be returned to the office by May 1st and the other payout is in December.


Q.

Can I have my Union Dues, Insurance payment, and Loan payments come out of my Vacation?

A.

Yes, as long as you have signed a Deduction Card.


Q.

For Vacation contributions, can I withdraw funds prior to the Annual pay out?

A.

Only if you have returned the request form to the Fringe Benefits Office by May 1st.
