    Certified Shortage of Journeymen - Monday, June 29, 2015
    The Business Manager of U.A. Local 393 has determined that there is a shortage of journeymen in the following classifications: Plumbers, Steamfitters, and HVACR Service Technicians/Refrigeration Fitters. Due to this shortage, retirees who are currently receiving early or normal retirement benefits through the U.A. Local No. 393 Defined Benefit Pension Plan have the opportunity to return to work. Disability retirees are not eligible to return to work under the Shortage of Journeymen provision.

    If you have questions about available opportunities for returning to work, please contact Local 393 at (408) 225-3030. If you have questions about how returning to work will impact your pension, please contact the Fund Office at (408) 588-3751.

    Blue Cross NurseLine and LiveHealth Online Effective July 1, 2015 - Thursday, April 02, 2015 Effective July 1, 2015, for participants of the PPO Plan, the following programs will be made available through the Blue Cross network:

    1. 24/7 NurseLine which provides registered nurses around the clock to speak with you.
    2. LiveHealth Online, which provides immediate doctor visits through live video using your computer, smartphone, or tablet. The online visits require a $20 copayment, but are not subject to the deductible.

    Prior to the effective date, you will receive a new Blue Cross card. The card will contain both the NurseLine dedicated phone number and the LiveHealth Online web page path.

    Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) for 2015 - Thursday, December 04, 2014

    The 2015 Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) was mailed on December 2, 2014. Please note the following changes since the last SBC was issued:
    1. Out-of-pocket limit increased from $1,500 to $1,800 per person
    2. The deductible is now counted toward the out-of-pocket maximum

    If you are receiving weekly SUB benefits, we strongly encourage you to sign up for direct deposit. click here to download the direct deposit form, or contact the Fund Office.

  • How do I obtain a User Login and Password for my Benny Card?
    To access your fringe benefit information, you will need to login with the username and password that you received in the mail. If you have not received your login information by mail or no longer have it, please contact staff@ibew595benefits.org. or call (888) 512-5863.

    I have a question about my fringe benefit information represented on the website. Who can I contact?
    For any question about your personal fringe benefits or if you feel that your benefit information is being incorrectly represented on the website, please contact the fund office or email websupport@ualocal393benefits.org.

    How do I access my account information?
    To access your fringe benefit information, you will need to login with the username and password that you received in the mail. If you have not received your login information by mail or no longer have it, please contact websupport@ualocal393benefits.org.
    Please include your full name and the last four digits of your Social Security Number so that we can properly identify you.

    How do I view my personal fringe benefit information after logging in to the website?
    Once you login with the username and password provided to you, the website will refresh with an additional tab - "My Benefits" on the top navigation bar. Please click on this tab and it will list your personal fringe benefit information.

    Can I change my password to something else?
    Yes. We recommend that you do change your user name and password to something you can easily remember.
