Understanding Your Pension Plan
Each Pension Plan is administered by a Board of Trustees made up of both union and employer representatives. While the plans share administrative resources, each Pension Plan has its own provisions and history.
Indiana State Council of Carpenters Pension Fund
The Indiana Carpenters Pension Plan merged into the Indiana State Council of Carpenters Pension Fund effective April 1, 2023. If you previously participated in the Indiana Carpenters Pension Plan, your benefits are now administered under the Indiana State plan.
Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters (IKORCC) Pension Fund
The IKORCC Pension Fund includes benefits earned under prior merged plans, including:
- Kentucky State Pension Plan
- Lower Ohio Valley Pension Plan
- Carpenters Local 215 Pension Plan
- Northwest Indiana Pension Plan
Participants may have benefits attributable to one or more of these pre-merger plans.
*Effective July 1st, 2026: The IKORCC Pension Fund is merging with the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council (MACRC) Pension Fund. For more information about the merger, visit the MACRC merger website
Ohio Carpenters Pension Plan & Southwest Ohio Pension Plan
These plans continue to operate as separate pension programs with their own eligibility rules and benefit structures.
